We visit Halifax, K’jipuktuk, a couple of times a year to see some of JC’s family and for Desmond’s IWK appointments. Every time we go we feast! We try to find new places and go to a few old favourites! I have had many requests for recommendations so I thought I would compile a list! Yummy soft-serve ice cream flavours in a crunchy taiyaki (fish-shaped) waffle cone. Stuffed mini taiyaki waffles with tasty sweet fillings. Fun drinks & lattes.

Qiu Brothers Dumplings
Our favourite is the fried dumplings they are served with a dumpling skirt (extra crispy bits)
The Canteen on Portland
Great lunch spot, reservations recommendation. We had the Crobster.
Indochine Banh Mi
Banh Mi sandwiches were so good!

So many great things on this menu! We order items from the Korean BBQ an assortment of meats and veggies that JC cooked at our table.
