Uptown Saint John Winter Patios Uncorked Tours

Uncorked Tours

Just outside the City Market, you will find Uncorked’s patio. Here, you can picnic while keeping warm under their many heaters. The atmosphere is cozy with maroon brick walls lined with little cedar trees, lights strung above you, and music playing out into the alley.  The bar has a great selection of local brews or spirits to add to your locally roasted Java Moose coffee or New Brunswick King Cole tea.

Located in City Market closest to the Germain Street entrance with Patio access from North Market Street, click here for the map.

Uptown Saint John Winter Patios Rogue

Rogue Coffee – Temporarily Closed & Relocating to a New Location Soon!

Journey down the brick-adorned alley to enjoy the historical ambiance and choose from the many outdoor seats found hugging the walls. My favourite sitting area is their Rogue nest, a colourful circler lounge area lit up by a peace sign. They serve up some fantastic winter drinks including Mayan Spicy Mocha or a Maple Latte. On Saturdays, you can warm up by their mobile fire pit table (weather dependent on rain and wind but available during picturesque snow days!)

Located 36 Grannan Street just down the alley, click here for the map.

Respectfully acknowledge that I am located in the Traditional Wəlastəkwiyik land. And that this area is on the unceded and unsurrendered territories of the Wolastoqiyik, Peskotomuhkati and Mi’kmaq, respectively known as Wolastokuk, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kma'ki. These lands are covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship first signed with the British Crown in 1725, and then recognized and affirmed by Canada in section 35 of the Constitution Act of 1982. The treaties did not surrender the territory and resources but in fact recognized Wolastokuk, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kma'ki title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. I pay respect to the elders, past and present, and descendants of this land.
