Guest Post – Averys’ Favourite Things, Saint John

Hello! My name is Avery Burnside. I am a Saint John lifestyle and fashion blogger, a micro-influencer, a photographer and a coffee admirer to say the least! I am so happy to be collaborating with Lea today to be able to show you some of our favourite things! Don’t worry though, you can get your fix of Lea over on my website after!

Like what you see?? Make sure to go check me out at AveryBurnside.com and Subscribe for more content like this!

PIVOT Cafe and Studio

Okay, so last weeks’ blog was completely devoted to them but again, a small shout out because where would I be without that place?? Idk either.

Soaps by Krystal

At the time of writing this, I tried Krystals bath bomb out for the first time last night and I can’t even. I want like 100 of these for Christmas. They have less pigment than the bath bombs at Lush, however, the natural smells and bubblyness (is that even a word) make up for it! Like Krystal said when she gave them to me, there is not as much pigment or unnatural smells so it stays healthy even for your most sensitive areas.

The Juniper Store

This gal knows EVERYTHING when it comes to sustainable living! Katelyn Price is an absolute wealth of knowledge and a joy to talk to! Her store is so beautiful and carries everything you need to kickstart your sustainable living goals!

Check out my blog post devoted to her here.

Charbear Handmade

Charbear Handmade makes THE BEST scrunchies and headbands! Earlier this fall she sent me a couple of each and I cannot wait to buy a bunch for everyone in my friend group. I am LOVING the knotted headband the most though. It is so easy to dress up or down depending on what you pair it with, and it even works for keeping your hair out of your face when you are applying makeup!

In Pursuit

When you ask me where I get all of the cute sweaters lately… HERE. I literally cannot get enough. In Pursuit carries the cutest clothes that are just a little different from what you can find at the mall, and their sizes range from SMALL to 3XL! Also, I love shopping online, but there is something about the immediate gratification of buying something and taking it home immediately, so brands like LOOP and SHADY LADY which are mainly online, can be found in store and it makes me so happy.

Marcis Salads

So this has been a new favourite for Alex and I. The goal of the restaurant is to provide “fast food, that is healthy” and their salads do just that. Even Alex has been loving their food, and for him to love a salad other than taco or caesar is a win. He usually gets “The Unsalad”, and I have been mixing it up, making my own and I did get “The Unsalad” as Well.

Thanks so much, Avery for sharing your favourite things on my site!

I love all your sweaters from In Pursuit Mobile Boutique, they are marvellous! Be sure to head over to her site to find more of her content and to check out my list of favourite things!

Respectfully acknowledge that I am located in the Traditional Wəlastəkwiyik land. And that this area is on the unceded and unsurrendered territories of the Wolastoqiyik, Peskotomuhkati and Mi’kmaq, respectively known as Wolastokuk, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kma'ki. These lands are covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship first signed with the British Crown in 1725, and then recognized and affirmed by Canada in section 35 of the Constitution Act of 1982. The treaties did not surrender the territory and resources but in fact recognized Wolastokuk, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kma'ki title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. I pay respect to the elders, past and present, and descendants of this land.
