Discover the best bagels in Saint John NB at the Bagel Artist on Rothesay Ave

A bagel breakfast sandwich is my breakfast of choice! So I was so excited to buy some fresh bagels from the Bagel Artist. They make bagels in small batches, so they are always fresh when you walk in. They usually only have a few options available at a time. You can pre-order to ensure you get all your favourites! They make poppy seed, everything, blueberry, and many other delicious flavours.

They offer delicious bagel sandwiches, including ones with salmon and cream cheese, ham egg & tomatoes, turkey clubs, and more. If you want to eat your bagel right away, you can have it toasted and enjoy it there with butter or cream cheese. Picking up a half dozen bagels is a great deal if you want to take a bag of bagels home. They also sell cream cheese in take-home containers in a range of flavours, including dulce de leche, garlic and rosemary, and others. I absolutely love toasting up one of their everything bagels with garlic & rosemary cream cheese, delicious!

Tip: They do sell out quickly, so go early in the day!

Respectfully acknowledge that I am located in the Traditional Wəlastəkwiyik land. And that this area is on the unceded and unsurrendered territories of the Wolastoqiyik, Peskotomuhkati and Mi’kmaq, respectively known as Wolastokuk, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kma'ki. These lands are covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship first signed with the British Crown in 1725, and then recognized and affirmed by Canada in section 35 of the Constitution Act of 1982. The treaties did not surrender the territory and resources but in fact recognized Wolastokuk, Peskotomuhkatik and Mi’kma'ki title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. I pay respect to the elders, past and present, and descendants of this land.
